We are lucky to have so many fine dining restaurants not just in our area, but within walking distance.

Let’s just mention a few of our current favorites…

The La Playa Hotel

Just one short block down the street is the Famous La Playa Hotel. It’s bar is legendary for locals and it’s bar menu is perfect for a light casual meal while watching the sunset.

The Highlands Inn

This famous landmark is about 10 minutes by car towards Big Sur. Nestled in the craggy rocks above Highway 1 sits an amazing view and fabulous food and drink.

La Bicyclette

Every time is say to myself, time to try a new place; I wind up here again. The food, the wine, the vibe.  You’ll see.

Anton & Michel

This place is all about the Food and the Service behind it. Their classic “dinner for two” is a visual and culinary experience. Romantic? Definately.

Club XIX

Known as one of the best 19th holes in the world, The Tap Room at the Lodge at Pebble Beach Pebble Beach doesn’t disappoint.

Wine Makers and Tasting Rooms

Most people don’t realize that good California wine is grown all the way from Napa down to Santa Barbara. It just makes sense that some of the more buttery Chardonays come from this region by names like Talbot, Bearnadus, and Morgan.

The Cottage of Sweets

An uncontrollable stop every time we walk by!  They have a wonderful selection of European candies and fudge. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

The Carmel Bakery

A bavarian pastry shop plunked down in Carmel Village. This is an old-fashioned bakery and Barista with some international choices — eclairs, pretzels (sweet and savory), cannoli, cookies. Just look for a pastry crocodile in the window.
